Blue PlaqueWorking with the local community and the Ulster History CircleThe Ulster-Scots Agency is working with the Rathlin Island community and the Ulster History Circle to unveil a “blue plaque” during the Bruce 700 Festival on Rathlin from 22nd – 24th June 2007 The plaque will be installed on the community centre on the island as a permanent commemoration of King Robert the Bruce’s refuge there from Autumn 1306 – Spring 1307. |
