Antrim, 2nd – 11th July Monday 2nd July: • Exhibition of banners, drums and uniforms (all day) • Language classes – starting at 7.30pm Tuesday 3rd July: • Exhibition of banners, drums and uniforms (all day) • Fishing Competition - starting at 7pm, 2 age groups ( 5 – 11 years & 11 - 15 years) • Language classes – starting at 7.30pm Thursday 5th July: • Exhibition of banners, drums and uniforms (all day) • Language classes – starting at 7.30pm Saturday 7th July: • Horse shoe competitions – starting at noon Monday 9th July: • Football tournament (including coaching) starting at 10am • Family fun day with bouncy castle, magician, etc – 1pm - 5pm (football field, Bridge area) Tuesday 10th July: • Re-enactments, first starting at 1pm, second at 4pm • Vintage car & tractor static display – starting at 7pm • Dunloy Orchestra – starting 7.30/8pm • Cookery demonstration - first starting at 1pm, second at 4pm Wednesday 11th July: • Robert the Bruce Fancy Dress Parade – starting at 7pm • Bonfire including fireworks, lambegs and flutes – starting at 10.30pm Bruce 700 and Ulster-Scots CookeryDivernagh Orange Hall, Bessbrook, Co Armagh 10th – 12th July Tuesday 10th July: • Cookery demonstration - starting at 8pm Wednesday 11th July: • Photographic display – during the day • Local schools colouring in competition – during the day Thursday 12th July: • Ulster-Scots Evening of Celebration: • The Lowry Family – local musical family who are part of Piping Hot • Altnaveigh House, Newry – Lambeg drumming, singing, storytelling and highland dancing • Fiddlesticks – Ulster-Scots fiddle orchestra from Markethill • Leonard Shields – Compère – storyteller and conducts Ulster-Scots displays |
